Dog Park Adventure: Spring is on the way!

We finally had a break from the rain and were able to make it out to the park for a few hours. Its just now starting to get warmer here, but its still a little chilly. I am beyond ready for spring to get here, and I know the dogs are too. We try to still take them to the park in the winter, but we don't go nearly as much as we do in the warmer months.
Everyone had a fun time congregating around the wheelbarrow.
This adorable boy wasn't shy about posing for the camera.
We met a gorgeous Doberman today.
Sammy the Boston Terrier mix was not afraid to keep up with the big dogs!
 Hi Sammy!
This doggie was happy to be at the park on such a beautiful day!

WOAH! A little to close there buddy! Haha!
I love this one of Axle and Clover.

 Let's play!

This cute doggie carried around his ball the entire time! I don't think I saw him put it down once!

Sammy was so cute! And had a very impressive T-Rex impression.

Sammy playing tug with another dog twice her size! She we fearless!

We also met a beautiful Airedale Terrier! He was so handsome!

We also met a very lovely Shih Tzu names Isabelle. At only 8 Lbs, her mom decided that she might just be a little to small to come inside the big dog park, so they were content watching from outside the fence. But we had a nice chat, and Clover was very taken by Isabelle's stylish hair bow.

I may be a bit bias, but Clover is so pretty! She gets compliments on her looks, especially her eyes, all the time. And it makes me so happy that her personality is just as adorable!
Sammy and her Boxer friend playing Frisbee!

I always seem to get a few pictures of Axle bouncing down the paved walkway.

Clover did end up need a little time out after not sharing a stick very nicely with Sammy the Boston Terrier mix. But after a few minutes of calming down they kissed noses and were friends again. Haha! Does any once else give their dogs time outs? Or is this just me?
This funny doggie had treed a squirrel and was bound a determined to climb the tree after it. But as hard as he tried he just could not make it up the trunk. Maybe next time buddy.
We had a really fun time at the park today. We always know that when Clover starts frothing, its pretty much time to call it a day. But we will be back soon. And once the weather starts to warm up we will be able to make it out more often. I can't wait for spring!!

What has everyone else been up to? Are you getting any warm weather yet? Send some our way! And don't forget, if you see your dog please let us know in the comments below so we can put their name with their picture!!

  1. Dude, my dog gets time outs and puppy pep talks all the time. He's got a big personality! haha. Lovely photos from the dog park. I wish we had one that was closer than an hour away. But, alas, we can always take him to the fields (there's lots of those here in Germany) and run him like mad. Good thing. :)

    1. Haha! Glad to hear I'm not the only one! We are really lucky to have a park so close by. Especially because Axle and Clover are so high energy! We know it was a good day at the park when they both fall asleep on the way home in the car. :)
